Fleming County EMS is a not-for-profit Ambulance Taxing District that was established in 1979 and was originally run by the local funeral homes. In 1990 the Ambulance Taxing District started doing business as Fleming County EMS at which time the current ambulance service was started and continues to serve our community with life-saving services, high quality trained and professional staff, and community training. We are funded through the Taxing District taxes, and by revenue generated by the EMS transports we provide.
